    We can support 250 total guests with the Mobile Bar Trailer alone.

    With other amenities available such as our portable bar, on site bars, or the ability to set up a table and tent style bar for larger crowds we can handle equipment and staffing for 600-1000 guests.

    We also partner with other local dry hire bar services to further increase the capacity!

  • Choosing between a Mocktail Bar and an ABC Licensed Bar depends on your event vision and very often your life style choices and budget will direct this the most.

    Please keep in mind; while Mocktail Bars do not require ABC Licensing, they can often require special vendor permitting through the county you are hosting your event in.

  • In most instances Golden Raven Mobile Bar is hired as a “Dry Bar”

    What this means for you:

    We provide everything but the booze!

    The purchase of alcohol and the necessary licensing for the event is your responsibility. After finalizing your custom menu for your event, we provide you with a complete shopping list to streamline placing your order with VABC stores and other distributors.

    Day of your event:
    When we arrive you hand over the alcohol to us and we begin stocking the bar, chilling drinks, and getting ready to serve your guests.

  • YES! Our Alcohol Free events are completely hands off once your menu is finalized.

    What this means for you:

    We provide everything on the menu for all of your guests. No shopping, no ABC license. You get to sit back and relax and let us work our magic!

    Day of:

    We show up, you or your organizer shows us where to place the trailer, and that’s it! We have everything to start serving your guests in no time!

  • The very first thing we tackle is setting a Consultation Meeting at the Golden Raven Event’s Office.

    During the meeting we will tour the mobile bar, go over your drink preferences, event theme, and any specific elements you want to incorporate into the drinks or the bar it’s self.

    We will go over ABC requirements as well so you are well prepared to apply for your license.

    We will also review our extra equipment rentals like neon lights, tents, and cocktail tables.

    Finishing our consultation, we will review the contract and lock in your event date!

    Anticipate this taking about 2-3 hours.

  • Anywhere we can pull the Mobile Bar into! If ABC will issue a license for the location we will serve up your libations! With proper permitting and licensing the options for locations are endless.

    Our Mobile Bar Trailer is 8×15.5’ and needs firm level ground.

    It is towed in by a Extended Cab Chevrolet 1500. It can be maneuvered by our electric dolly on areas with a 4% grade or less.

  • We do need accessibility for a full sized pick-up truck to pull the Mobile Bar into position. Our Mobile bar is 8’ x 15.5’, we generally prefer to place the trailer on firm, level ground but can assess your venue and desired bar location on an individual basis. We do also require a power hook up, either by onsite power or a location away from the festivities to run a generator.

  • A minimum of 2 hours for set up prior to your event is necessary to begin service on time. Break down is simple and takes about an hour.

    We operate on a Leave No Trace ideology and intend to leave the space we occupy better than we found it.

  • This is situation and location dependent. In the state of Virginia we are only able to run cash bars for 501C Non Profits as a means of fundraising during an event.
